Open Question: If traveling from the US, do i need a visa? or is it highly recommended?

Thu, 2010-03-11 03:16
Hi, I'm planning on traveling from the United States to visit Bali, Indonesia. I've read that the US needs a Visa in order to visit, but I've also read that there's a new Visa on Arrival that can be issued for a price when entering at certain airports. Is the Visa on Arrival easy to obtain? I have more than 6 months left on my passport (much more). Or would it be recommended to obtain a Visa before leaving the US? Also, how much would the Visa on Arrival cost? thank you!

Open Question: Why are there some planes that have a Flag or national symbol on the rudder along with the Fuselage symbol?

Wed, 2010-03-10 21:16
My question is why do some military planes and helicopters have both the Fuselage insignia and then one of the following on the Tail Rudder: A Flag, another Insignia, or The Tricolor? I know this has been done on planes since World War 1 to the present day but I do not know the reasoning for doing this. The countries that I have seen this on are Germany, Great Britain, France, Former Soviet Union, India, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Indonesia, Mali, Bulgaria, Cuba, Peru, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Thailand and probably many more that I don't know about. Is there any reasoning significance for this? Below are some links to pictures to show what I am asking about. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3439/3184903956_17e73bb59d.jpg http://www.sepiamutiny.com/sepia/mig21_1.jpg http://www.yakuk.com/img/yak-3page.jpg http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/images/fw190-1.jpg

Open Question: Do You Think The Indonesian Police and Authority Are Discriminating Against The Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan Refu?

Wed, 2010-03-10 14:59
Do You Think The Indonesian Police and Authority Are Discriminating Against The Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan Refugees? The Influence of the neo-cons, Specifically Prejudice and Bigotry in the Climate Change Debate Today, (Friday, February 12, 2010) the Politics in the Pub organised a debate "POST-COPENHEGAN – AUSTRALIA'S ETS – WHERE TO NOW?" Two good speakers were Dr. Mark Diesendorfe of University of Technology and Green MLC John Key. They made a beautiful presentation. They also dispelled lots of myths. During the question time Sydney identity Faruque Ahmed asked the following question: "Do you like to talk about The Influence of the neo-cons, Specifically Prejudice and Bigotry in the Climate Change Debate? Right now, the scientists are not talking. In fact the politicians, spin doctors, shock jocks, neo-cons, … who by the way got a very bad track record are in many ways steering the debate! They have removed the science and facts from the debate. In reality, they have cunningly injected prejudice and bigotry in this very important discussion. More or less, they are saying, this is a taxing the rich nations to pop up the corrupt and poorer African, Asian and Latin American countries! This is another way to destroy factories and farmers of Australia, … . Very emotive statements without any foundation whatsoever! To understand this situation we have to examine a carefully choreographed paranoia over `boat people'. Recently a few leaky boats are arriving in Australia with their cargo, e.g. refugees from Sri Lanka. Many of them are Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and not Muslims. However, due to the existence of a `memoranda of understanding' between Australia and Indonesia, the Indonesian police have been rounding up `Mislim' refugees from Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan who intend to sail for Australia! You see, “the Muslims are bad people, they threw their babies in the water to gain sympathy and wear burqas! You see, prejudice and bigotry works." It was a lively discussion forum of Sydney. Unfortunately such open and live debates and discussions are not available in the Australian media! Last year, the shock jocks and spin doctors managed to change the leadership of a major political party over a totally false and jaundiced debate about the "Climate Change' or `Global Warming". Would you believe the main stream media outlets are cunningly preventing Sydney identity Faruque Ahmed from speaking up too! Open Question: are you glad that Japan lacks religious fanatics?

Wed, 2010-03-10 01:21
christians tried to spread christian influence all over the world .sending missionaries, They destroyed many cultures like, the philipines, indonesia, mayans & aztecs. these days most cultures colonized by christians are now unstable chaotic regions of the world, philipines is unstable with high crime & so is indonesia with alot of religious violence & wars. during the 16th century portuguese tried to conquer & gain influence in japan, Luckily tokugawa shogun realized the dangers of christianity & expelled christian nfluence. This helped Japan's culture flourish & Europeans were not able to use the religion as a wedge to gain political power in Japan. Even to this day Japan is strong & never converts to islam or christianity ( the 2 most crazy religions in the world) Thats why I love japan because they are not so stupid as to bowdown to something as hypocritical manipulating & brainwashing as christianity . Most the japanese I know dont like the hypocritical christian religion either and the crumby story about jesus christ on crispy cross. Jesus is just some white man floating in the clouds. Japan I love you so much!!! your such an inspiration to all!

Open Question: Why do liberals misunderestimate Sarah Palin?

Wed, 2010-03-10 00:11
Well they're making a big mistake, because this woman has won over Middle America in a way no recent politician has done. When she speaks, the people gather, when she writes books, they sell out right away....so why do liberals poke fun at such an accomplished woman? Are they just being sexist? Let's see, Obambi was the senator of Illinois (now, we all know that states have two senators, so he was able to have someone share his work, something a governor doesn't have because there is only one governor in a state; Alaska is the largest state in America, whereas Illinois most certainly is not; What takes more skill, governing the largest state or senatoring a small state; Alaska borders not one, but two countries, one socialist and the other communist. Illinois does not border any foreign nations, so why do liberals think that Obozo has foreign policy experience when he never had to stare down the Russians or the Canadians or keep socialism from spreading like a cancer into our society the way a person who has to contain Russian and Canadian influence has to? Obummer has only two children and grew up in a dysfunctional family outside the United States. Palin was raised in America by a normal family and has five children, something conservatives know how to do. So it's clear who has the family values!!! Palin cares about America, spends her time in America whereas the One jets off to foreign countries like Kenya and Hawaii and Indonesia every chance he gets. Be afraid, libs, be very afraid-----Palin 2012 is coming to a White House near you!!!!!!
