Open Question: What do Muslims of the world think of bin Laden?

Mon, 2010-08-16 22:57
Al-Jazeera Poll: 49.9% of Muslims support Osama bin Laden The Al-Jazeera questionaire polled 41260 participants. http://eye-on-the-world.blogspot.com/2006/09/al-jazeera-poll-499-of-muslims-support.html Oddly (well, not really oddly), the results of the poll are only available on the Al-Jazeera's Arabic language site, and the English version can only be obtained using the on-line translator. The results of the poll discard the claim that "only a tiny minority of Muslims supports terror against infidels". By the data of the Pew Global Project for 2009, the support of bin Laden among the Palestinian Arabs was even higher: 52%(although it was lower than in 2001, when it was 73% , and in 2007, when it was 57%). In Indonesia- 25% said they support AlQayeda. In Pakistan – 18% In Jordan – 28% The Palestinian Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza – 52% Nigeria – 54% Egypt - 23% Just 5% of the American Muslims say they think favourably of Al Qayeda. The result would seem very good, if not for one detail: 27% of the American Muslims declined to express their opinion on this terrorist group.

Are the "unbiased moderators" so much afraid that the people will see the true statistics?

Resolved Question: Atheists, Agnostics, Christians anyone in favor of NYC mosque building?

Mon, 2010-08-16 18:33
Have you ever been to a Muslim majority country like Pakistan & Bangladesh? Have you seen the amount of religious freedom they allow for people of other faiths? Did you know in Bangladesh (the largest muslim populated country after Indonesia) you cant build a church as far as the sound of azan (islamic call to prayer) reaches from the loudspeaker let alone TWO BLOCK AWAY? Did you know there police needs to be employed in the religious festivals lest peaceful muslims attack them? Lastly Did you know what the term "Freedom of religion" means in a muslim majority country?? If you didnt then you should just go there and raise your voice for freedom of religion.. Don't just sit in the comfort zone of Christian west fancy what islam is not, please move your lazy a$$ for a while and check the reality They should be treated by their own principals not ours. People don't stand and watch silently when a ferocious animal hunts them down Performance I DON'T GIVE A RATS A$$ AS TO HOW THE TERM MOSQUE SHOULD BE USED. ITS STILL SAME AS SH!T TO ME

Resolved Question: How come Obama has yet to find a church to attend, but he can host a dinner for Muslims on Ramadan?

Mon, 2010-08-16 17:03
Obama cancelled 2010 White House National Day of Prayer ceremony * April 15th, 2010 10:56 am Obama cancelled 2010 White House National Day of Prayer ceremony. The National Day of Prayer has historically been the first Thursday in May, since Harry S. Truman put it into effect in 1952, but wasn’t official until the days of Ronald Reagan. For eight years, the White House held a celebration on the National Day of Prayer, and last year Obama cancelled the celebration, and the ceremony has been cancelled for 2010. In 2009, CNN reported that Obama was toning down the National Day of Prayer by cancelling the White House ceremony, but that the official day was not cancelled. http://www.examiner.com/headlines-in-salt-lake-city/obama-cancelled-2010-white-house-national-day-of-prayer-ceremony Noticeably missing from the president’s schedule, however, was a trip to a church – even on Christmas, according to White House sources. Though Obama spent nearly all of his childhood in Hawaii – away only for about four years, when he lived in Indonesia – he didn’t have a childhood church. His mother wasn't a churchgoer, and his maternal grandparents, who cared for him upon his return to Hawaii in 1971, took him to church infrequently. http://www.christianpost.com/article/20100104/reports-still-no-church-for-obama-even-on-christmas/ How come Obama loves the Muslims but cancels National Prayer Day and does not attend a Church, and claims he is not a Muslim but is a Muslim?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZu45ybOR0g

Open Question: Question about Trade , Opportunity cost?

Mon, 2010-08-16 16:20
This is a question I had on my exams , and i cannot find a way to answer it ... Can you help me ? Assume that presently Malaysia and Indonesia produce shoes and televisions. However Malaysia intends to buy shoes produced in Indonesia and Indonesia is interested in buying televisions produced in Malaysia. The two countries negotiate in order to find an agreement on the terms of the potential exchange. According to insider information, Indonesia will not accept to give up more than 20 pairs of shoes in exchange for one television, whereas Malaysia expects at least 15 pairs of shoes for each television it will export. The Malaysian and Indonesian workers have exactly the same average productivity in the production of shoes. If, on average, a Malaysian worker is able to produce 200 televisions in one year, how many televisions will an Indonesian worker be able to produce during the same period? Explain your answer.

Open Question: Is 0bama "The First Un-American President"?

Mon, 2010-08-16 15:40
“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.” – Barack Hussein Obama, spoken at a White House dinner to celebrate the beginning of Ramadan! Well, of course, he does. Why wouldn’t someone who thinks the sound of the call to evening prayers from a nearby minaret is one of the sweetest sounds in the world? Why wouldn’t someone who spent his formative years, age six to twelve, in Indonesia, the step-son of a Muslim father and the son of a Muslim father who had deserted his wife and child. But, I hear you say, he spent twenty years in a Christian church in Chicago. Yes, with a preacher who said of 9/11 that “the chickens had come home to roost”; a preacher who embraced Black Liberation theology and maintained close friendships with Nation of Islam leaders in Chicago. “That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.” What a pompous hypocrite. He’s been president since January 20, 2009 and has yet to have selected a church to attend in Washington, D.C., like every other president before him has done, but he makes sure to celebrate Ramadan. That’s what you get when you elect a man named Barack Hussein Obama about whom you know nothing other than the fawning, worshipful puke served up by the liberal media all through the campaign and for most of his first year and a half in office. Too late! The majority of voters selected a complete stranger; a man with virtually no available paper trail, including the one item most people can produce on request, a legitimate birth certificate. Obama is not an American. He is the son of a former British subject, a Kenyan of the same name. He is the step-son of an Indonesian who married his mother and adopted him. When his mother divorced for a second time, he was shipped off to live in Hawaii with his grandparents. The only overseas trip he took that we know of was to Pakistan with a college friend from there. Did he travel on an American passport? The State Department records have conveniently disappeared. He’s one of those people who enjoys all the benefits of American citizenship, but considers himself an internationalist, someone more at home in the bowels of the United Nations than the chamber of the U.S. Senate; a place where he spent very little time because he was so eager to seize the presidency and begin to “transform” America. This statement regarding the defiling of Ground Zero, favoring a mosque where the same religion that spawned the 9/11 killers would be preached, may finally convince the deniers that Obama is and always has been a Muslim. First interview as president was with Al Arabia. First official act was to sign paperwork to close down Guantanamo. First major overseas speech was given in Cairo. Et Cetera! He’s letting you know he has the reins of power. He doesn’t care what you think. And he has the rest of his term to finish destroying the nation. He knows it. Now you do. America, take a good look at the first truly un-American president to hold that high office. A lot of Americans voted for him. Those that did not are desperately reading the Constitution to find a way to rid us of this enemy of the people. For all the liberal idiots who keep clambering about the constitution, It says there is "freedom of religion" IE to practice ones religion freely......but where exactly does it state in constitution the freedom to BUILD? Are you liberal idiots aware that building a mosque near or on the sight where they kill is how they claim victory.....yeah...didn't think so. Look it up....quick being so enamored over 0bama...he's not in it for anyone other than himself.

Open Question: How could I check if a software is genuine or not?

Mon, 2010-08-16 09:30
I bought a laptop used at a store in Indonesia as a display, for half price. It's an ASUS R1E Tablet laptop. I am traveling back to the states in three days and I have noticed to a lot f Indonesians say that I must be careful that none of the software in my laptop is pirated because they could get detected and my laptop would be discarded right away. How do I know which software are pirated or not? Are there any lists on the internet that tell us what software come pre installed in these laptops anyway? Thank you so much? I forgot to say, the Asus I purchased came with Adobe CS3 everything. Photoshop, bridge, etc. Does that come with all ASUS or should I remove them in case they might be pirated, and is there anyway of telling if they're pirated or not? Okay cool nice to know. But before I remove them, considering that this laptop is second hand there is a possibility the previous user installed originals right? Is there a way I can tell if the Adobe Photoshop CS3 is genuine? I use it quite alot. In my case, when I click the help button, the options "Registration" "Activate" "Deactivate" and "Updates" are gray (cannot be clicked). That means my adobe is a phony?

Open Question: Im angry at musslims and you should be too!!?

Mon, 2010-08-16 06:42
I am so fucking angry at Islam and if you're not too, then I can honestly say that you are a sick fuck. Islam violates so many human right it should disgust any half-decent human being to the core. Islam ordains that apostates are to be killed (not quickly but by stoning so that they can die SLOWLY and PAINFULLY), it orders limb amputations for petty theft, allows raping women, orders lashings, allows for Muslim men to beat their wives, that women are blame if they're raped, that molesting little girls is perfectly ok, it orders those who insult Islam and all those who do not submit to it are to be killed by beheading and cutting of their hands and feet. Dont feed me that pure bullshit that this isnt part of Islam, everyone of these acts are legislated by the Quran and Islamic scripture from the hadith. Then theres all these ignorant fucks who dont know jackshit about islam, they try to be politically correct and applaud themselves themselves for being open minded; they'll do that right up the moment the jihadists slit their throats. To say that it is racist to criticize Islam is like saying its racist to criticize Nazism, it doesn't make sense, they're both hateful and inhumane ideologies. These wars arent about fucking foreign policy, it never was. This war was started when Muhammad (shit be upon him) ordered all Muslims to fight disbelievers until you convert them or subjugate them to dhimmis (second-class status where they're forbidden to preach their religion carry religious relics under penalty of beheading), if they refuse it warrant their deaths. This is fucking global jihad to make one islamic state, are you fucking blind? Look whats happening in virtually every country: mylasia, indonesia, pakistan, afghanistan, iraq, iran, spain, saudi arabia, nigeria, somalia, morroco, egypt, britain, etc... muslims are killing innocent people left and right! These Muslims are following in the footsteps Muhammad who fucking killed a bunch of innocent people, who was fucking pedophile that fucked Aisha who was just she NINE years old, who lead caravan raids, who severed the heads of over 800 jews of the banu qurayzah tribe, owned blacked slaves, he brutally tortured people by burning their eye out and cutting off their limbs, he ordered the assassinations of poets like abu afak and asma bint marwan who undermined his authority, he was a fucking epileptic madman. So when you see these crazy infantile Muslims threatening to kill people over some fucking cartoons, should it be any surprise when they consider a man like this to be "the best example for mankind"? Islam is unique among other religions, it mandates to establish sharia to the land through jihad (this one of the fucking pillars), its goal is world domination it always has been from the very moment of its conception. We need to stop being politically correct, because islam will undoubtedly kill us all if keep spreading the lies that it is peaceful

Resolved Question: Did you know that the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th most populous Muslim countries have elected women as their...?

Mon, 2010-08-16 04:16
Prime Ministers and Presidents? Indonesia, the most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Megawati Sukarnoputri as president. Pakistan, the second most populous Muslim-majority country, twice (non-consecutively) elected Benazir Bhutto as prime minister. Bangladesh, the third most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Khaleda Zia and Sheikh Hasina as prime ministers. Turkey, the fifth most populous Muslim-majority country, elected Tansu Çiller as prime minister. @hellraiser: Perhaps you should concern yourself with the over 200,000 rapes and sexual assaults (not including the ones that aren't reported) of American women. STFU, bigot.

Open Question: Why is there no concern about MGM in other cultures (not circumcision in the West)?

Mon, 2010-08-16 04:01
Okay, people defend circumcision, cleaner, whatever... yadda yadda yadda. And point out that many forms of FGM really ARE more extreme even if a more principled view should be we shouldn't be mutilating ANYONE. Soooo, circumcision is at this point a pointless debate. How do people feel about penile subincisions performed on boys among cultures of the Amazon basin, the Samburu of Kenya, the indigenous Australian cultures of Arrernte and Luritje? How do they feel about the dorsal slit performed on boys among Filipinos and other Pacific islanders? What about frenum piercing on boys among the Timorese of Indonesia?

Open Question: is it right that indonesia and malaysia ban the ahmadiyya sect?

Sun, 2010-08-15 19:30
They are not allowed to have mosques. isn't there freedom of religion in islam? very interesting point.. but from what i understand ahmadiyyas' beliefs differ from mainstream islam. that's why they want their own mosque.

Open Question: Which Pokemon game should I get?

Sun, 2010-08-15 18:14
I'm going to Indonesia on Friday and have a 25 hour journey to get there, so I was thinking of ways to kill time and remembered that when I was younger I would play Pokemon for hours on end and it would feel like minutes... So basically I want to get one of the newer ones... The last one I have is Pokemon crystal!!! The thing is, I plan on catching up and I'd like at least one game from each region so that I can trade across and eventually (and hopefully) get all of the pokemon in my pokedex... My question is, which game would I need to get... As in how far back do I need to go... I have been told that they redo the older regions (from early 2000s) so obviously I don't need to get the super old ones... Do I need to go further back than Diamond/Pearl/Platinum in order to get all of the pokemon? And if not, which of Diamond and Platinum would you recommend I get?? Bear in mind I love using strategy guides, and the Platinum one is huuuuuuge aka not entirely practical for travelling!!! Also, extra question which games do I need to get in order to get all the pokemon... I hope to complete them all over the next year or so.... I know that I have to trade across, but which games, as most recent as possible, do I need to get??? And which would be the oldest one I need to get? seriously, can people learn to read?! I don't want the new ones, I want to go back and complete them all... I want to know which regions have newer versions so I don't complete a 2006 game and then start a 2009 game and realise it's the same region or same pokemon.... I repeat, I DON'T WANT SOUL SILVER/ HEART GOLD/ BLACK/ WHITE.
