Well the recent drug trafficking involving Australians has been quite humiliating and has also raised a big question as to the safety of others being at risk of getting involved. These recent incidents raise a big question for Indonesian justice department and their ability of providing justice amid huge controversy and racial hatred surrounding them. This also brings more question marks for Muslims all around the world as they face more challenges from the western society regarding strict Muslim laws as put by the media and tabloids. Being an Australian Muslim, I hope that full justice is done in Sheplle Corby’s case whether she proves guilty or innocent as well as the other group of teenagers recently held in Bali. This also shows how much more needs to be done in regards to control of drug trafficking and airport safety around the world especially in Sydney after these latest incidents. No matter what the outcome, justice should prevail and Muslims all over should prove that their justice system is transparent and can walk with their heads held high, after the verdict is given.
